Australian Fashion week is the country's largest global fashion platform and the most influential fashion event in the Asia-Pacific. Held annually by IMG models, in Sydney in May, this event features the industry's biggest names alongside the next generation of Australian designers shaping the future of Australian Fashion. Thousands of media applications are sent in from around the globe, but only a small amount are accepted, Fiona K Photography had the pleasure of photographing this event from the 13th to 17th May 2024.
Fiona K Photography attend the AFW24 with the credential of a "Photography Riser" in hopes of learning more about the fashion industry shows and events, but also taking some amazing images of fashion on the runway. "I love taking runway photos and had the amazing pleasure of fulfilling a dream of taking photos of some amazing designers such as, Carla Zampatti, Alix Higgins, Third Form, Romance was Born, Em on Holiday and more. It's an event that I would encourage everyone to purchase a ticket to, this helps the Australian fashion industry grow".
